BioThis journal was started in 2005 after I graduated from high school.
2005- Early 2008: Drugs, drinking, lies, depression, blame, bad relationships, bitterness, earthly desires, bad friendships, emptiness.
March 2008: I prayed for a change, and came to know who God was. I'm not religious, but Jesus is definitely walking with me in all aspects of my life. I'm learning how to change my life, and really be about something instead of nothing. I cannot tie myself to earthly things anymore because I realize how easily destructible they are. I realize that I am not perfect, and never will be, and will continue to make mistakes, but knowing that someone higher and greater than anything and anyone will still love and forgive me when the day is done keeps me going.
People really just want to be loved, and look for humans who will always make mistakes in loving you. No one is perfect but the One who created this. Lay your problems and your love at his feet and embrace the Word of God. It is a powerful and beautiful thing that will evoke change in any part of your life that you give Him.
